An unidentified man was shot dead by an officer at a police station in Elizabethtown early Sunday morning, Nov. 3, Lancaster County District Attorney Heather Adams announced later in the day. The difficult task of ruling whether an "accidental" shooting may be a homicide is up to authorities in Luzerne County, Daily Voice was told on Friday, Sept. 6. A teenage boy was fatally wounded with a gunshot wound to his chest in Nanticoke on Sunday, Sept. 1, authorities said. The victim was identified as Hunter Sipple, 17, the following day. Gun Fired During Schuylkill County Road Rage Incident, Troopers Say
State police in Schuylkill County are looking for a driver who they say shot at another person on the road last Tuesday, May 28. The suspect was in a black, newer model BMW SUV on Schuylkill Mountain Road in South Manheim Township, troopers said. During a road rage incident, police said the suspect pulled next to the victim and fired a handgun at a 17-year-old's 1989 Ford. He was described as a white man in his 30s.
