Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio identified the biker as John Joseph Sweeney, 50, of Bristol, PA. Sweeney had gone out with a group of five other riders when he was struck by a wrong-way driver, a 24-year-old woman from Perth Amboy, NJ, according to Buglio and Pennsylvania State Police.

The crash happened around 10:10 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-476 at mile marker 67.1 in Washington Township, PSP said.

Following an autopsy, Buglio ruled the cause of death accidental due to blunt force injuries.

PSP had not yet identified the driver and it was not immediately clear whether or not charges had been filed.

Those who knew Sweeney were rocked by the news.

"He was a great man and Neighbor," one commented on the Lower Bucks Source Facebook post. "I pray for his kids and family."
