Troopers Find Suicidal Man Dead From Gunshot Wound Inside PA Home: State Police

A man was found dead inside his Milford Township home after Pennsylvania State Police troopers responded to a report of a suicidal person, authorities announced.

Troopers from PSP Dublin were dispatched to the 1300 block of Fennel Road in Bucks County at approximately 4:20 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, police said in a statement.

As troopers arrived, they heard a gunshot from inside the residence. Upon entering the home, they found a 56-year-old man suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, state police said.

Troopers, along with Upper Bucks EMS and Upper Perkiomen EMS, attempted life-saving measures, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.

The case remains under investigation.
