A bold thief stole a NOCO battery pack straight from a Pennsylvania police speed timing device in broad daylight—then sped off, authorities said.
The shocking theft happened at 4:52 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at the intersection of Blue Church Road South and Wild Cherry Drive in Center Valley, Upper Saucon Township police said.
The suspect, driving a white Dodge van, was last seen heading south on Blue Church Road.

A woman was found shot and left on a Philadelphia highway, and now authorities have identified her.
Afdera Hatten, 64, of 5100 Regent Street, was discovered unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds to her back near 5200 Greenway Avenue around 2:47 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, police said.
Officers from the 12th District had heard gunfire moments before a 911 call reported a "female down on the highway." Police rushed Hatten to Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center, but she was pronounced dead at 3:16 a.m.

A Hilltown Township man is facing charges after a child was hospitalized for alcohol poisoning, police announced on Sunday, Feb. 16.
Brian William Vanderleeuw, 42, was arrested on Feb. 12 after authorities investigated an Oct. 26, 2024 incident on Middle Road in Hilltown. Vanderleeuw supplied liquor to the minor, leading to the hospitalization, the police said.

Missing NC Woman Located In PA, But Family Pleads For Her Return
Martina Zellars, a North Carolina woman briefly located in Pennsylvania at the end of December, remains missing, and her family is issuing urgent pleas for her safe return.
Zellars, 31, was stopped by Pennsylvania State Police in near Gettysburg on Tuesday, Dec. 26, after her vehicle was flagged by an Automatic License Plate Reader, authorities said.
