Driver Wanted After Passenger Killed In Crash: Lehigh DA New details released in several Lehigh Valley crashes include those of a manhunt for a driver who left his passenger to die alone, according to a release by the Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan on Monday, Oct. 14. The most recent fatal crash happened in the 700 block of Central Boulevard in Bethlehem just before 7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13. Schuylkill County Woman Dies 11 Days After Crash: Lehigh County Coroner An 82-year-old woman from Schuylkill County has died at a hospital in Allentown from critical injuries in a crash earlier this month, authorities announced on Monday, Sept. 23. Mary Frances Peiffer of Auburn died of blunt force injuries, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio said. Peiffer was pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, at 2:02 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, Buglio detailed in the release. Her cause of death was "complications of blunt force injuries due to motor vehicle collision," he wrote. The manner of death was ruled an accident. Peiffer was the driver of …

Coroner Names Woman Killed In Carbon County Crash A Hazleton woman was killed in a Nesquehoning crash on Tuesday morning, July 23, officials say.  Angela De La Cruz Laureano, 46, was involved in a wreck on Route 93 and pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Carbon County Coroner's Office.  Her cause of death was multiple traumatic injuries resulting from a motor vehicle collision and the manner of death was ruled accidental, authorities said.  In addition to the Coroner's Office, Nesquehoning police and the District Attorney's Office are investigating, they added.
