A federal grand jury has indicted a Pennsylvania judge and lawyer on 31-counts of wire and mail fraud, as well as witness tampering and obstruction of justice, the US Department of Justice announced on Tuesday, Oct. 8. Steven Stambaugh, age 61, of York, has been charged with twenty-six counts of wire fraud, two counts of mail fraud, two counts of tampering with a witness, and one count of obstruction of justice for a COVID-19 scheme, according to United States Attorney Gerard M. A Chester County father and his two adult sons were charged for poaching "dozens upon dozens" of trophy bucks, according to authorities. Carl Nelson III, 70, of West Chester, and his sons Carroll Nelson IV, 44, of Downingtown, and Mark Nelson, 40, of West Chester, are facing a total of 71 charges stemming from a multi-year investigation, the Pennsylvania Game Commission said. A 92-year-old dad was killed by his son and namesake in what officials are calling murder-suicide, the Mercer County Coroner’s office told Daily Voice on Monday, Oct. 7. David E. Routine Traffic Stop Turns Up Drugs, Cash In Montgomery County: Police
A routine traffic stop in Montgomery County led to a major drug bust, according to police. Lower Moreland officers were patrolling Welsh Road when they saw a silver Infiniti sedan, heading east with a wrongfully attached license plate on it around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, police said in a release. The vehicle was occupied by two males, among them, passenger James Nogeuras Jr., police said.
