Blandon Motorcyclist Injured In Crash With Deer: Upper Macungie Police A 30-year-old motorcyclist was injured in a crash with a deer in Upper Macungie Township on Wednesday, Oct. 23, according to police. The motorcyclist, who is from Blandon, Berks County, struck a deer while driving on Route 222 North near its intersection with Grim Road at 6:38 a.m., the Upper Macungie Township Police Department said.  After hitting the deer, the motorcyclist was thrown from his vehicle, resulting in "lower extremity injuries and road rash," according to police.
