Tractor-Trailer Driver Killed In Fiery Carbon County Crash
A truck driver was killed and his passenger injured in a fiery tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 80 in Carbon County, authorities said. The crash happened around 3:40 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14 in Kidder Township near mile marker 279, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The tractor-trailer was traveling west when it veered to the left leaving the highway. The tractor-trailer struck a tree and came to rest in the center median of I-80. Patrol Vehicle Crash Sends 1 To Hospital: Philadelphia PD
An officer "operating a marked patrol vehicle was involved with a private vehicle", sending one person to the hospital on Monday morning, July 22, Philadelphia Police announced. The crash happened in the 18th District, at 57th Street and Larchwood Avenue at 6:09 a.m., as stated in the release. Car Hit By Falling Tree On I-476 In Delco: Police
A tree fell on a car on Interstate 476, sending one person to the hospital on Thursday morning, July 18, according to state police. The driver of a Toyota Rav4 was seriously injured, troopers said. Two other cars were struck by debris but no one inside them was injured, authorities added. Hit-Run Badly Injures Bicyclist In Palmer Township: Police
A driver fled the scene of an accident that left a bicyclist with serious injuries, said Palmer police. The victim was struck on South Greenwood Avenue below Charlotte Avenue around 10 p.m. on Tuesday night, July 16, according to authorities. No vehicle description was given.
