A former teacher and Boy Scout leader has been charged with sending a child inappropriate messages to a former student on Snapchat, according to court documents obtained by Daily Voice on Wednesday, Aug. 21. A 42-year-old Schuylkill County man used social media to threaten FBI agents, authorities said. Joshua Frisch, of Frackville, was sentenced on Aug. 7, to time served (six months) and three years of supervised release by United States District Court Judge Julia K. Munley for one count of Influencing a Federal Official by Threat, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. A Pennsylvania man was arrested in Bergen County, NJ after authorities said he extorted a victim over Snapchat using nude photos. Jourden Battle, of Tobyhanna, PA, was identified by authorities following information that came from Mahwah police last April, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
