Man Dies After Crashing His Motor Scooter Into PA School Bus: Police A 41-year-old man is dead after his motor scooter struck a school bus in Philadelphia at 1:29 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, police said. The motor scooter was northbound on the sidewalk of North 2nd Street near Nedro Avenue when it struck a traffic control device, then a Dodge Journey that was parked along the street, and finally a school bus, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. The bus was stopped at the traffic light facing east on Nedro Avenue, police said. The woman was walking west on Chelten Avenue in the crosswalk at Chew Avenue at 3:01 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 21, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
