Cockfighting Ring: PA Residents Among 48 Indicted
A cockfighting ring in Galloway Township led to 48 people facing charges of animal cruelty on Wednesday, Feb. 26, authorities said. Galloway Township police found electronic invitations to an illegally organized cockfight event scheduled in March 2024, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said. Police were able to stop a cock fight that was taking place in an arena constructed specifically for the purpose of rooster fighting, authorities said. A former Pennsbury School District music instructor who admitted to having thousands of child pornography images and videos has been sentenced to three years of probation, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office announced on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025. State Agency Director ID'd As Driver, 55, Killed By Motorist Running Red Light On Route 130
The driver killed in an early-morning crash Wednesday, July 10 on Route 130 in Hamilton has been identified as the director of the New Jersey State Commission of Investigation (SCI). The agency identified its executive director Chadd W. Lackey as the 55-year-old Voorhees driver who died in the Hamilton crash.
