Amish Buggy Driver Struck Dead In SUV Crash: Lancaster County Coroner An Amish man with a total of 92 children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was struck dead when his horse and buggy were struck by a BMW SUV, authorities told Daily Voice on Tuesday, Aug. 27. Levi R. Stoltzfus, 81, of Narvon, driving the buggy near the intersection of Sheep Hill Road and Springville Road in East Earl Township when he struck the SUV at 8:13 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, according to the police. Elizabethtown Dad Killed In Mount Joy Motorcycle Crash: Coroner A 28-year-old dad died at the scene of a motorcycle crash with an SUV early on Saturday morning, July 20, the Lancaster County Coroner's office announced in a release on Wednesday, July 24.  Matthew D. "Matt" Ferruzza, originally of Hershey most recently of the 470 block of Rockwood Drive in Elizabethtown, was pronounced dead an hour after the collision at 12:50 a.m. on July 20, the coroner detailed in the release.  The crash happened at 2907 Mt. Berks Thieves Used Stolen Truck To Rip ATM From Ground, Troopers Say State police are investigating a theft from an ATM at a Berks County bank.  The three suspects drove a stolen truck to First Citizens Community Bank in Tulpehocken Township around 3 a.m. on May 6, troopers said in a release.  They pried open the top panel and bottom door of a drive-up ATM, fastened a tow hook and chain inside the door, then accelerated the truck forward to remove the ATM from its concrete base, police said.  Once it was on the ground, they removed the cash from the ATM, according to investigators.
