A fast-moving duplex fire killed a father and his two young daughters early Friday morning, Pennsylvania State Police announced. The blaze broke out along the 400 block of Hancock Street in Clymer Borough (Indiana County) at approximately 4:14 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, according to state police. The Clymer Volunteer Fire Company and several neighboring departments were dispatched to the residential structure fire, where both sides of the duplex were occupied at the time, police said. A 50-year-old woman from Bern Township has been charged with animal cruelty after 51 cats and dogs were found at her home in poor condition, authorities said. Jennifer May Ayala was charged by Humane Police Officer R. Harnish from the Department of Animal Protection at the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.
