A Pennsylvania state trooper shot a man dead during a standoff at a mobile home park on Saturday, Sept. 7 in Lycoming County, authorities said. The officer-involved shooting remains under investigation pending an autopsy on Monday, Sept. 9, they said. A convicted felon has died following an officer-involved shooting in Lewistown, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Ridge Ryen Rhodes, 29 of Lewistown, is accused of firing "several shots" when local police responded to the area of the 100 block of West Fourth Street and fired back around 8:30 p.m. on Monday, according to the PSP Troop G release. A police officer fatally shot two dogs after they attacked a woman in West Philadelphia on Wednesday morning, June 5, officials say. According to PPD, a 57-year-old man was calling for help when a stray dog attacked his pet on his porch on the 1500 block of North 57th Street.
