A Lancaster man with a long history of harassment-related charges is accused of bombarding a Mount Joy church with obscene voicemails and threats, police announced on Thursday, Feb. 6. Crist Allen Wolf, 67, allegedly called a church on the 800 block of Bruce Avenue and left more than 30 messages containing profane and vulgar language over several weeks, Mount Joy Borough police said. A Massachusetts man is behind bars after state police say he tried to con his way into a Pennsylvania home by posing as a cop. Thomas Rooney, 25, was arrested in Hempfield Township after a resident called police about a suspicious encounter on Friday morning, Jan. 31.
