2 More Arrested For Wild Car Meetups In Philly: Police
Two more arrests have been made relating to illegal car meetups in Philadelphia, according to police. Joseph Cavanaugh, 21, of Levittown, and James Hare, 20, of Philadelphia, were arrested on Friday, Oct. 25, the Philadelphia Police Department said. Both men were charged for their actions at a series of illegal car meetups that took place in various parts of the city beginning at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21 and ending at 4:33 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, according to police. Berks Man Attempts To Kidnap Girl In Reading Alleyway: Report
A Berks County man attempted to kidnap a girl from an alleyway in Reading on Friday, Oct. 11, authorities said. Liam Wilkinson, 24, of Blandon, had posed as a teen boy on social media to lure the girl into an alley in the 600 block of Ritter Street, WFMZ 69 News reported on Wednesday, Oct. 23. A pedestrian was struck by a white pick-up truck in a serious crash at Bucks Crossing Shopping Center on Thursday, Oct. 24, police said. A 30-year-old motorcyclist was injured in a crash with a deer in Upper Macungie Township on Wednesday, Oct. 23, according to police.
