Tractor-Trailer Fire Shutters Part Of PA Turnpike: PennDOT A tractor-trailer caught on fire along the Pennsylvania Turnpike prompting a detour to be put in place on Tuesday, Oct. 22, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.  The fire broke out in Upper Allen Township near mile marker 234.7 around 2:09 p.m., according to PennDOT's 511PA.  The turnpike is closed at the Gettysburg interchange. Crash Blocking Part Of Rt 30 In Lancaster: PennDOT A multi-vehicle crash has caused delays on Route 30 in Lancaster County on Tuesday, Oct. 22, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.  The crash happened in the westbound lanes just before the Route 283/Harrisburg/Lancaster exit in Manheim Township around 9:34 a.m. Traffic backed up in the area as emergency vehicles remained on the scene.  There is no word of any injuries at the time of reporting.

The fire happened in the westbound lanes of PA Rt 283 between Exit: Pa. 772 – Mount Joy/Manheim And Exit: Rheems/Elizabethtown, according toe PennDOT's 511PA. Emergency crews were called to the fire around 8:45 a.m., 511PA shows. Lane restriction was put in place as crews remained on the scene. Car Carrier Catches Fire On Rt 283 In Central PA (Photo) A car carrier caught fire on Route 283 on Monday morning, Sept. 30, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The call to fire came into the Dauphin County Department of Public Safety at 8:03 a.m. Fire crews responded to a tractor fire on Route 283 East at the Middletown Road Exit in Dauphin County Monday morning. There was a lane restriction in the area. The tractor of the car carry was hollowed out by the fire, as seen in PennDOT's 511PA traffic cameras.  No injuries have been reported at the time of publishing.

Crash Causes Major Delays On I-81: PennDOT (Developing) There's lane restriction on Interstate 81 following a multiple vehicle crash on Friday evening, Sept. 27, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice.  Emergency crews were called to the scene of the crash on  on I-81 southbound 1.1 miles north of Exit 57: PA 114 - Mechanicsburg at 6:08 p.m., according to PennDOT's 511PA. Camper Overturns On I-81 In Lebanon: PennDOT An overturned camper closed a portion of Interstate 81 on Wednesday, Sept. 25, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation officials told Daily Voice.  The camper flipped over on I-81 South at mile marker 84 in East Hanover Township around 11:30 a.m.  The interstate closed for the towing between Exit 85: PA 934 - Annville/ Fort Indiantown Gap and Exit 80: PA 743 - Grantville/Hershey. No injuries were reported.  The crash appeared to have cleared just before 1 p.m. but there are some residual delays according to the traffic cameras on 511PA.
