A school teacher was struck by, and pinned under a car at a Delaware County Catholic school on Monday, Nov. 18, according to reports. Amy Travers, a teacher at Saint Francis of Assisi School was struck by a vehicle while helping students in the car line at Saint Kevin Parish School, 200 West Sproul Road, Springfield Township, according to Facebook posts by both schools. A 12-year-old student is in the hospital after the were struck by a passing car while crossing the street to get on the school bus, East Cocalico Township Police announced on Wednesday, Oct.23. A car smashed through the glass storefront windows of the Gettysburg Olive Oil Company on Sunday night, Oct. 20, the owner Lori Stewart announced on social media the following morning. Stewart is grateful no one was seriously injured in the crash. The wreck happened when a driver slammed into a parked car which created a domino effect, slamming the parked vehicle into the store. Three family members — including two firefighters — are in the hospital after a car crashed into their York County home on Sunday morning, Oct. 20, fire officials announced.
