A Camp Hill man is accused of breaking into a home, assaulting a woman, and threatening to burn the house down with its occupants inside, police announced on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024.
Lower Allen Township police first responded to the 1100 block of Primrose Avenue on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024, at 9:06 p.m. after receiving a 911 hangup call. A woman could be heard crying before the call ended, according to police.

A 12-year-old girl was rape while she was unconscious and a Cumberland County man has been charged with the assault, police announced on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
Anthony Cornett, 21, of Camp Hill, was charged on Thursday, Sept. 5 by Lower Allen Township Police following an investigation.
The victim, who is now an adult, cam forward about the assault around 10:40 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2024, according to the police.

Boil Water Advisory Ends In York, Cumberland Counties: Penn American Water Co.
Pennsylvania American Water Co. issued a boil water order for customers in York and Cumberland counties, starting on Friday, Aug. 9, and ending on Tuesday, Aug. 13.
The company initially warned that 42,000 customers were affected in the following areas: Camp Hill, Lemoyne, New Cumberland, Shiremanstown, West Fairview and Wormleysburg boroughs; East Pennsboro, Hampden, Lower Allen, Silver Spring townships; parts of Middlesex and Upper Allen townships; and parts of Fairview and Newberry townships.
