A 32-year-old man was arrested after allegedly threatening a truck driver with a gun at a truck stop in Carlisle, Middlesex Township police announced on Monday, Nov. 25, 2024. Freddy Simon-Castro, of unknown address, is accused of pointing a gun at a driver at 1501 Harrisburg Pike on Sunday, Nov. 24, police said in the release. An intoxicated man caused chaos at the U.S. Military Entrance Processing Command Center (MEPS) in Mechanicsburg, resulting in his arrest, police announced Friday, Nov. 22. Alexander Christian Murray, 27, of Carlisle, showed up for initial intake testing at the MEPS on Wednesday, Nov. 13, but employees quickly suspected he was under the influence of alcohol, according to Lower Allen Township police.
