Child On Scooter Struck By Vehicle In Lancaster County (Developing) A child riding a scooter was hit by a vehicle in Lancaster county on Thursday, Feb. 22, emergency dispatchers said. The child was struck the intersection of Glenola Drive and East Main Street/Route 23 in Upper Leacock Township at 6:36 a.m., according to Lancaster County Wide Communications. They were transported to a hospital for treatment, but their condition has not been released. Their age remains unknown at this time. Pedestrian ID'd After Fatal Hit-Run Strike Near Dutch Wonderland: Coroner The pedestrian who was fatally struck by a vehicle outside a hotel near multiple amusement parks has been identified by the Lancaster County Coroner on Friday, Aug. 30.  John Zimmerman, 72, original of Lititz but recently of Lancaster, died at the scene of the strike at 2270 Lincoln Highway East at Fairfield Inn, according to the coroner. Murder-suicide: Pair Found Shot Dead In Ronks Home, Coroner (Update) Two people who were found dead inside a home in Lancaster County on Wednesday, August 7 have been revealed to be a murder-suicide the coroner announced on Thursday afternoon, Aug. 8. Ann M. Sellers, 47, and Kyle D. Heagy, 32, were found inside a home in the 2800 block of Lincoln Highway East, Ronks at approximately 7:08 a.m. by East Lampeter Township police, as detailed in the release.  The officers were conducting a welfare check when the pair was discovered.
