Attempted Knifepoint Home Invasion, Suspect At Large: Evesham Police
A suspect is at large after they tried to break into a home at knifepoint on the evening of Thursday, Feb. 27 in Evesham, authorities said. At 9:36PM, officers responded to a residence in the Willow Ridge Development for the report of a physical altercation in progress, Evesham police said. The homeowner said an unknown suspect armed with a knife had entered their home in an attempt to rob them, but fled out of the rear door upon police arrival, officers said. Poisoned Hawk Found By Hiker In Lower Merion Township: Police
A red-tailed hawk that was suffering after being poisoned was rescued in Lower Merion Township, according to police. Officers responded to a call about a hawk that was in distress in a wooded area of Gladwyne, the Lower Merion Township Police Department said in a Facebook post on Tuesday, Oct. 15. Officer Brian Devlin, the department's Animal Warden, confirmed to Daily Voice that he was involved in rescuing the hawk on Wednesday, Sept. 25. A hiker on the Winsor Trail initially found the bird and reported it, according to Devlin. The animal was unable to fly and appeared to be in distress. …

Shots Fired In Allentown Home: Police
A 40-year-old man is in custody after police responded to reports of gunfire in an Allentown residence Thursday morning, June 27. Joseph Saluta is charged with persons not to possess firearms, simple assault, and reckless endangerment, according to authorities. Police said they were called to the 200 block of North 8th Street around 9:15 a.m. and found "evidence of shots being fired." A loaded firearm was recovered and seized, they added.
