Two men have been charged following an armed burglary and standoff with police at the Fountain Hill Pharmacy in Lehigh County on Christmas Eve, authorities announced Wednesday, Dec. 25.
Miguel Martinez, 56, of Allentown, and David Vazquez, 33, of Bethlehem, face multiple charges, including felony burglary, felony recklessly endangering another person, and several misdemeanors such as theft by unlawful taking, prohibited offensive weapon, and possessing an instrument of crime, according to Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin P. PA Dad Pleads Guilty In Accidental Shooting Death Of Toddler Son
An Allentown dad pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the accidental shooting death of his 3-year-old son, Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan announced on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024.
Jose Hilario Abreu, 29, admitted guilt to Involuntary Manslaughter of a Child Under 12 and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, both second-degree felonies, as part of a plea agreement.
The deal includes a prison sentence of 18 to 30 months, with formal sentencing set for 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025, before Judge Robert L. Steinberg, authorities said.
