'Juvenile' Hit By Car In Broomall: Police A juvenile victim was hospitalized after being hit by a car on Friday night, July 26, according to Marple police.  The victim was struck by a southbound vehicle while crossing Sproul Road near Lawrence Road in Broomall around 7 p.m., authorities said in a release. They were taken to Lankenau Hospital while the driver remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators, police wrote.  Marple police and the Delaware County Crash Investigation Team continue to investigate.

Coroner Names Woman Killed In Carbon County Crash A Hazleton woman was killed in a Nesquehoning crash on Tuesday morning, July 23, officials say.  Angela De La Cruz Laureano, 46, was involved in a wreck on Route 93 and pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Carbon County Coroner's Office.  Her cause of death was multiple traumatic injuries resulting from a motor vehicle collision and the manner of death was ruled accidental, authorities said.  In addition to the Coroner's Office, Nesquehoning police and the District Attorney's Office are investigating, they added.

Car Hit By Falling Tree On I-476 In Delco: Police A tree fell on a car on Interstate 476, sending one person to the hospital on Thursday morning, July 18, according to state police.  The driver of a Toyota Rav4 was seriously injured, troopers said. Two other cars were struck by debris but no one inside them was injured, authorities added.  I-476 between Route 3 (Marple) and Route 30 (Radnor) was down to one lane of travel as of 12:30 p.m., state police said.

Roadwork To Begin In Montgomery County, Officials Say Drivers are advised to expect possible delays as roadwork begins in Lower Gwynedd this week.  Crews will be at work at the intersection of Bethlehem Pike, Sumneytown Pike, and Norristown Road near Spring House Tavern, according to township police.  Work will begin on Wednesday, July 17, and continue through Friday, July 19, officials said. Crews will work from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and then again from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The project will include roadway milling, paving, and temporary line striping, they added.

Road Rage Shooting On Rt 222, Berks County Authorities Say A gunman who shot at another driver near the Berkshire Mall on Monday, July 1 is being sought by police.  The road rage incident unfolded on Route 222 in Wyomissing around 12:45 p.m., authorities announced the following day. A driver in a black Honda sedan fired at another vehicle, striking it twice, according to investigators.
