20-Year-Old Man Steals Vehicle With Child's Wheelchair From Northern Westchester Home: Police A 20-year-old Pennsylvania man faces criminal charges after stealing a van containing a girl's customized wheelchair from a Northern Westchester driveway, police announced. Letrell Ackerman of Reading, Pennsylvania was taken into custody by Yorktown Police on Thursday, May 16 in connection with the theft of a vehicle with an electric wheelchair inside that occurred in June 2023, the department announced on Friday, May 17.  The arrest was made in connection with an incident on June 15, 2023, when a van was reported stolen from a Yorktown resident's driveway.
