Gas Leak Under Investigation In Doylestown: Officials (Updated) Crews are at the scene of a reported gas leak in Doylestown, borough police said Wednesday, July 10.  The leak happened in the Doylestown Hunt Estates housing development just before noon, according to authorities.  Steeplechase Drive is closed from South Main Street to Birdsong Way while police and firefighters investigate, they added.  UPDATE: PECO crews are on the scene repairing the issue and Steeplechase Drive is back open for through traffic, police said Wednesday afternoon.

Crews Battle Blaze In Allentown First responders were called to an apartment building in Allentown for a three-alarm fire on Monday evening, July 8.  The blaze broke out on the 1100 block of Hamilton Street around 5:30 p.m., said firefighters. Norfolk Southern Train Derails In Bethlehem Bethlehem city officials responded to a train derailment under the Hill to Hill Bridge on Friday afternoon, July 5, authorities said in a release.  Four to five cars from the 125-car train derailed around 2:40 p.m., said the Fire Department in a release. Crews Respond To Early Morning Fire In Easton Firefighters were at the scene of a three-alarm blaze in Easton on Friday, July 5.  Forks Township fire officials said they were called to Lehigh and South 11th streets around 2 a.m. Dewey Fire Company said they assisted with suppression, search, overhaul, and cleanup and were at the site until 5 a.m. WFMZ reports the blaze spread to multiple apartments and said that one person was taken to the hospital.  Daily Voice has reached out to Easton Fire Department for additional details.  This is a developing story. 84-Year-Old Killed In Afternoon House Fire: Philadelphia Police A Philadelphia man was killed when a house caught fire on Wednesday afternoon, July 3, city authorities said in a release.  Firefighters were called to the 2300 block of East Lehigh Avenue at 1:35 p.m., the police department said.  Citizen.App The 84-year-old victim was found unresponsive on the first floor. Allentown Shooting Sends 'Juvenile' To Hospital, Police Say A juvenile was shot and injured in Allentown on Thursday afternoon, June 13, city police say.  Shots rang out near North Nagle and West Allen streets around 3:30 p.m. Authorities arrived at the scene to find the victim with a single gunshot wound, according to APD.  First responders rendered aid at the scene and took the victim to an area hospital, police said. His injuries "do not appear to be life-threatening at this time."  The shooting is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call 610-437-7721.

Emergency crews were called to the "fire department incident" at Johnson Controls located at 100 Cumberland Valley Avenue in Waynesboro at 7:23 a.m., according to emergency dispatchers in Franklin County. Allentown Man Killed The Mother Of His Children, Lehigh Jury Finds A Lehigh County jury convicted Rami Abouloh for the murder of Patricia White, with whom he had four children, the District Attorney's Office said Friday, May 31.  Abouloh, 41, is set to be sentenced in August.
