Fatal Shooting: Teen Struck With Gunfire In Arm, Legs, Torso, Philly Police A 17-year-old boy died early Tuesday, Sept. 10 after being shot multiple times in Philadelphia, authorities said. Just before midnight, Philadelphia police responded to a person with a gun shooting on the 1800 block of West Sedgley Avenue, in the 39th District, they said. The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the torso, arms, and legs, police said. PFD-Medic Unit transported the male to Temple University Hospital, died of his injuries on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 3:15 a.m., police said. Crash Involving Philadelphia Firetruck Kills Woman, Police Say A 23-year-old woman is dead following a crash with a Philadelphia Fire Department truck, city police announced on Saturday evening, Aug. 24.  The PFD Ladder truck was heading west on Lehigh Avenue when a passenger vehicle traveling north on West Sedgley Avenue pulled out in front of them at the intersection in the District 22 at 12:10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, PPD detailed in the release.
