Next Of Kin Sought For PA Man: Coroner
The next of kin for a man recently found dead is being searched for by the Berks County Coroners Office according to a release on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Theodore Burkhart, 71, of the 1200 block of Perkiomen Avenue in Reading was found dead in his residence, the coroner said. Called-in and emailed bomb threats prompted evacuations at multiple polling places, the district's attorney's office confirmed on Tuesday, Nov. 5. The following morning the FBI informed they believe Russians were responsible. A 41-year-old man is dead after his motor scooter struck a school bus in Philadelphia at 1:29 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, police said. The motor scooter was northbound on the sidewalk of North 2nd Street near Nedro Avenue when it struck a traffic control device, then a Dodge Journey that was parked along the street, and finally a school bus, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. Man Found Shot Multiple Times Later Dies: Harrisburg Police
A man was shot multiple times and eventually died of his wounds in Harrisburg on Saturday, Nov. 2, according to police. Darius Stukes, 34, was found injured from multiple gunshot wounds at 2:30 a.m. after officers were called to the area of Hunter and Nectarine streets for shots fired and a person down, the Harrisburg Bureau of Police said. Stukes did not survive his injuries, according to police. An investigation into the shooting is active and ongoing, police said.
