Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Teen Driver In Lebanon County: PSP
A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle while crossing a road in Union Township, Lebanon County, early Monday morning, Jan. 13, Pennsylvania State Police said.
Jary Reyes Figueroa, 19, of Lebanon, was driving south on Route 72 in a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu when he struck 60-year-old Eric Meck in a crosswalk at Jonestown Road around 5:52 a.m., according to police. The area has marked crosswalks, as seen on Google Maps Street View.

A Lehigh County inmate accused of killing and dismembering his roommate last year has died by suicide at a hospital, the coroner announced on Sunday, Jan. 12.
Joshua Douglas Moser, 34, of Allentown, was pronounced dead at 3:41 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, at St. Luke's Hospital in Allentown, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio.
Moser, who was being held at Lehigh County Jail, was charged in May 2024 with homicide, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with evidence in the murder of his 37-year-old roommate, David Hittinger, authorities said and Daily Voice previously reported.

Stephanie Mobley, 52, owned ComfortZone Home Health Care, LLC, a Medicaid-approved provider based in Bala Cynwyd. Trooper Shoots Man Dead During Standoff At Trailer Park: PA State Police
A Pennsylvania state trooper shot a man dead during a standoff at a mobile home park on Saturday, Sept. 7 in Lycoming County, authorities said.
The officer-involved shooting remains under investigation pending an autopsy on Monday, Sept. 9, they said.
At about 2:50 p.m. Saturday, Pennsylvania State Police at Montoursville was dispatched to a disturbance at 152 Boak Ave., Lot 49, in Wolf Township.
