A husband and wife have been arrested on homicide charges after an assault left a woman dead in the couple's Harrisburg apartment on Thursday, August 29, the police announced the following morning. A Philadelphia woman has been charged with killing another teenager after running a red light and crashing a stolen vehicle in Montgomery County, authorities said. Asiyah Sara Mowatt-Mays, 18, was charged with homicide by vehicle, aggravated assault by vehicle, receiving stolen property and other charges related to the July 29 crash that killed a 15-year-old boy and injured two others, authorities said. A 37-year-old man was killed in a fire that was intentionally set in Southwest Philadelphia, authorities said. The victim's name had not been released. On Thursday, Aug. 29, at about 7:30 p.m., Philadelphia Police and Fire Department responded to a fire on the 5700 block of Harmer Street, in the 19th District. PA Mom Missing Over 24 Hours, Police Say
A mom has been missing since Wednesday morning, Aug. 28, West Lampeter Township police announced on Thursday afternoon. Candace Mulron, 45, of West Lampeter Township was last seen in the area of Bank Barn Road, West Lampeter Township, around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28, the police detailed in the release. She was wearing a blue striped shirt and blue jeans at the time of her disappearance. She is a mom, according to public records. Harleysville Driver, 36, Killed In Bucks County Crash
A 36-year-old driver from Montgomery County was killed in a crash in Bucks County, authorities said. Robert Strohm, of Harleysville, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at about 6:30 p.m., according to Hilltown police. The crash occurred at the intersection of Route 113 at Diamond Street. The second driver was transported by ambulance to Grand View Hospital with unspecified injuries, police said.
