A rape at knifepoint that happened next to a sleeping child in Lancaster County has led to the arrest of a Chester County man, Lancaster County District Attorney Heather Adam's office announced on Tuesday, Oct. 15. Efrain Mateo, 49, of the 3500 block of Blue Rock Road in Manor Township, was arrested in Chester County and accused of the assault on Friday, Oct. 11, the DA explained. Police Seek ID Of Gunman In Terrifying Late-Summer Dauphin County Incident
Police in Dauphin County are seeking the public's help in identifying the individual wanted in connection with an August assault. The man pictured above was in a group of three people who approached the victim sitting in their car on the 200 block of Liz Lane in Swatara around 9:20 p.m. on Aug. 28, police said. The man above pulled out a handgun and began yelling and threatening the victims. An Oxford man wanted for assaulting then robbing a woman was arrested at his residence Wednesday, Oct. 9, according to police. Terence Kenneth Henderson, 26, a Middletown, Delaware native most recently of Oxford, was arrested and taken to Chester County Prison where he was arraigned Thursday, Oct. 10, the Oxford Police Department said. Henderson is being held on $100,000 bail with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 22, according to police. An 84-year-old Bethel woman was shot in the head as she was reading the Bible, according to court documents obtained by Daily Voice on Tuesday, Oct. 8. The woman was shot by her husband, Howard "Philip" Boltz, as she was sitting at their dinner at their dining room table at 9:10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, as detailed in the affidavit of probable cause.
