Strasburg Man Accused Of Repeatedly Raping Girl Over 8 Years: Lancaster DA
A Strasburg man is accused of repeatedly raping and sexually assaulting a juvenile girl for nearly a decade, the Lancaster County District Attorney's office announced on Tuesday, Jan. 14. Brent Matthew Groff, 25, allegedly began assaulting the girl when she was about 8-years-old and he was 16-years-old at a residence in the 100 block of Charleston Drive, police said. The assaults reportedly continued at various locations from approximately 2015 until October 2023. Three Pennsylvania counties are investigating possible voter registration fraud, as mail-in ballots are rapidly coming in. Approximately 2,500 voter registrations dropped off at the Lancaster County Board of Elections could be fraudulent, the county commissions and County District Attorney Heather Adams announced at a joint press conference on Friday, Oct. 25. A historical one-school house caught fire on Friday night, Aug. 2, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications. The call to 911 about the fire at the Bunker Hill School/Strasburg Township Municipal Building came into LCWC at 7:35 p.m., dispatchers told Daily Voice. Emergency crews were called to the blaze at the intersection of Shaub, Deiter, and Bunker Hill roads in Strasburg Township.
