Toddler Stuck In Lancaster County (Developing) A toddler was hit by a vehicle on Thursday morning, Nov. 7, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications.  First responders were called to the Springville and Peters roads intersection in Salisbury Township around 11:25 a.m.  A 16-month-old child was struck but thankfully the injuries were minor, according to emergency dispatchers. Amish Farm Has Two-Alarm Barn Fire: Authorities An Amish barn had a blaze burning through it early Thursday morning, Oct. 10, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications.  The call to the fire at the farm located in the 5900 block of Meadville Road in Salisbury Township, Narvon came into LCWC at 3:24 a.m., according to the supervisor. The area of Meadeville and Red Hill roads were closed as fire crews battled the blaze.   The barn stored hay, not animals, so no humans or animals were injured. Amish Horse-Buggy Crash Closed PA 340: PennDOT A horse-and-buggy crash closed part of PA 340 in Lancaster County on Thursday evening, Sept. 19, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice.  The horse-and-buggy and vehicle collided at the intersection of PA 340 and School Lane Road in the Salisbury Township, Gap area around 6:30 p.m. The road was completely closed "due to the vehicle rolling over," Schreffler said. Horse Struck Dead By Van, No Charges Filed: PA State Police A horse was struck dead by a minivan in Salisbury Township on Thursday, Sep. 5, Pennsylvania State Police announced the following day.  The 2011 Dodge Caravan driven by 20-year-old Leon Lapp of Atglen struck a horse standing on Churchtown Road just south of Main Street at 6:01 a.m., PSP Lancaster Trooper Joshua Croyle wrote in the release.   The Caravan was going south on the Road when it hit the horse then continued across the northbound lane of traffic, off the road, into a PP&L utility pole, Trooper Croyle explained.  The horse died from the initial impact of the…

Airborne 21-Year-Old Killed In 4 Vehicle Crash: PA State Police A 21-year-old man was killed in a four-vehicle crash on Route 30 on June 17, the Pennsylvania State Police announced in a release the following Monday. Pequea Valley High School Student Killed In ATV Rollover Crash An all-terrain vehicle rollover crash has led to the death of a Pequea Valley High School student.  Tyler Yoder, 18 of Narvon previously of Rohrerstown and Lancaster, passed away following the ATV crash in the 5800 block of Northeimer Road in Salisbury Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. That crash happened around 8:41 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, PSP explained in a release.
