An inmate serving time for the brutal Christmas morning murder of a Philadelphia woman has died in a Pennsylvania state prison, officials announced on Friday, Feb. 7. Josue Quino, 38, was found unresponsive in his cell at the State Correctional Institution at Somerset on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2025, according to Superintendent Kenneth Hollibaugh. Cumberland County Prison Inmate Found Dead by Apparent Suicide: Officials
A Cumberland County Prison inmate was found dead by apparent suicide, officials announced on Friday, Nov. 8. Amanda Beth Dunkelberger, 48, was discovered unresponsive in her cell on Thursday morning, Nov. 7, at 8:45 a.m. Correctional officers performing routine rounds made the discovery and immediately initiated lifesaving measures. EMS arrived at the Carlisle facility at 8:55 a.m. and continued resuscitation efforts, but Dunkelberger never regained consciousness.
