Upper Saucon Woman Killed In Crash Down Embankment: Lehigh County Coroner

A 58-year-old woman was killed in a crash in Upper Milford Township over the weekend, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office announced on Monday, Nov. 25, 2024.

Jane E. Zamichieli, of Upper Saucon Township, died at 10:39 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, according to the release.

Zamichieli suffered multiple blunt force injuries when her vehicle left the roadway, went down an embankment, and ejected her, the coroner said. The crash occurred around 8:23 p.m. in Upper Milford Township, authorities reported.

The cause of death has been ruled multiple blunt force injuries, and the manner of death is accidental, the coroner stated.

The Pennsylvania State Police at the Fogelsville Station are continuing to investigate the crash.
