Woman ID'd After Drowning At Pinchot State Park: York County Coroner A 31-year-old woman who drowned while swimming at a state park has been identified, the York County Coroner announced on Thursday, June 27.  Brittney Hoffman of the 700 block of Madison Avenue, York City, was found unresponsive in the Quaker Race Day Use swimming area of Gifford Pinchot State Park on Tuesday night, as explained by Chief Coroner Pam Gay. PA 18-Year-Old ID'd After Drowning In Susquehanna River: Authorities An 18-year-old man drowned in the Susquehanna River on Saturday, police announced on June 23.  The incident began when Gavin Frey of Howard, PA was swimming with a 22-year-old friend in the Susquehanna River between the City Beach and Riverview Park around 4:45 p.m. on June 22, Lock Haven City Police explain and he was later identified by the Clinton County Coroner Zach Hanna.
