Roadwork To Begin In Lower Moreland,

Says
Lower Moreland drivers are advised of upcoming roadwork to begin on July 1. PECO will be installing new underground gas pipes on Warminster Road, a project that's expected to wrap sometime in October, the utility company says. Work will occur Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Contractor Riggs Distler will be handling the project. Crash Shuts Down Lincoln Highway In Chester County: Police
Authorities are responding to an accident on Route 30 in West Whiteland on Monday morning, June 17. Route 30 is shut down east of Springdale Drive and some area residents have lost power, police said around 10 a.m. The PECO outage map shows more than 100 customers in the area are affected. Service is expected to be restored by noon, PECO says.

Montco Copper Thieves Used Bolt Cutters In
Peco
Station Break-In, Troopers Say
State police in Montgomery County are investigating a burglary at a PECO substation on May 8. Two masked men used bolt cutters to gain entry to the substation at 444 Gravel Pike in Perkiomen, troopers said. They then stole copper wiring from the loading dock, according to investigators. Suspect one was 5-foot-11 and about 180 pounds with an average build, police said. He wore a gray hoodie with the hood cinched tightly around his face, black sweatpants, and gray sneakers.
