A dog owner was arrested after her dog mauled a neighbor's cat to death, according to a release by the Springfield Township police on Wednesday, Oct. 2. Heather M. Fitzgerald, 53, of Coopersburg, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of Harboring Dangerous Dogs and Confinement of Animal Within Premises of Owner following a police investigation on Monday, Sept. 30, the Springfield Township Police Department detailed in the release. A Lebanon County Constable has been charged after he left his gun in a public restroom, the District Attorney's office announced on Thursday, Aug. 29. Lebanon County Constable James Drahovsky left his gun in the public restroom at the District Justice Office located at 502 State Drive on Monday, Aug. 26, Chief County Detective Jonathan Hess detailed in the affidavit of probable cause. Delco Parents Charged For Elementary School Student's Truancy
Two parents in Lower Chichester Township face misdemeanor charges after police say their child missed school for over 60 days. Carolyn L. Gill and John E. Spires are charged with corruption of minors, said township police. According to authorities, their 8-year-old had 64 unexcused absences at Linwood Elementary School between Aug. 28 and Dec. 15 last year.
