A Pennsylvania State Police investigation lead to the dismantling of a Milford Township chop shop run out of a garage located at 2150 Rosedale Road, as detailed in the release.
Hundreds of thousands of dollars in stolen parts were sold and shipped to the Dominican Republic from the shop, according to the release.
The following men were charged in connection to the illegal sale of the stole car parts from the garage:
Aldenis Gonzalez-Caceres, 52, of Milford Township.
- Alexander G. Espinal De Jesus, 48, of North Chesterfield, Virginia.
- Rahinier Antonio Paulino, 31, of Bronx, New York.
- Ricky M. Paulino, 26, of Bronx, NY.
- Lenny Gomez-Santos, 47, of Allentown.
- Luis F. Hernandez Infante, 23, of Yonkers, NY.
Five of the six are currently in custody. Gonzalez-Caceres was the rentor of the Milford Township garage where 12 stolen vehicles from NY and NJ, and several vehicle engines and other parts were located.
The men were charged with the following:
- Corrupt organizations.
- Owning, operating or conducting a chop shop.
- Altering or destroying a vehicle identification number.
- Disposition of vehicle or vehicle part with altered VIN.
- Receiving stolen property.
- Possession of an instrument of crime.
- Forgery, tampering with public records.
- Dealing in titles and plates of a stolen vehicle.
- Insurance fraud.
Gonzalez-Caceres was arraigned on Thursday by Magisterial District Judge Christopher E. O'Neill and was released on $150,000 unsecured bail.
The investigation began in August 2022 when PSP Dublin troopers were called by New York City police about a stolen 2022 Honda CRV that was tracked by an Apple AirTag to the garage in Bucks County.
During a warranted search of the garage; "investigators located a mechanical lift, two forklifts, impact drivers, metal cutting tools, and various power tools inside, and reported that the garage resembled an assembly line where vehicles entered the garage intact in the first part of the garage and were then disassembled as it progressed to the second part of the garage," as stated in the release.
After they obtained another warrant to a rear part of the garage, eight other stolen vehicles where found. "They also located 15 Honda engines, one Acura engine, twelve airbag components, eight SRS units, four pairs of registration plates, and two doors associated with 19 other vehicles, reported stolen out of New York and New Jersey between Feb. 18, 2022, and August 6, 2022," as stated in the release.
The six men charged were all seen of security footage working on the garage and driving the stolen vehicles. "The surveillance footage also captured U-Haul box trucks coming and going from the garages," the police said. "The box trucks were loaded with trash bags and other items from the garages."
Fraudulent titles and insurance cards were also submitted by Gonzalez-Caceres, according to the DA. Over eight months, the filled 10 containers with approximately $500,000 worth of stolen vehicles and stolen vehicle parts inside.
The men would use a key fob programmer to steal the vehicles, the DA concluded.
This case was investigated by Pennsylvania State Police, Dublin Barracks, the Pennsylvania State Police Auto Theft Unit, the New York Police Department and the New York State Attorney General. This case is assigned for prosecution to Chief Deputy District Attorney Marc J. Furber, Chief of Economic Crimes and Insurance Fraud.
The investigation is ongoing.
