Female Flagger ID'd After Fatal Strike At PA Construction Site: Coroner The woman who died while working as a traffic flagger at a construction site early morning on Thursday, Oct. 10, has been identified by the Lancaster County Coroner's Office the following afternoon.  Linetta Wells, 56, of the 900 block of North Hanover Street in Pottstown was directing traffic when she was struck by a SUV at the intersection of Stone Mill and Plymouth roads in Manor Township around 7:38 a.m., according to Lancaster County Wide Communications and later named by First Deputy Coroner Casey Buckley. Lititz Man Wanted For 'Threat of Mass Violence' Killed Fleeing From Police The man who died in a crash after fleeing from the police has been identified by the Lancaster County Coroner's Office and as detailed in a release by the New Holland Police.  David Andrew Pacoe, 59, of Lititz, was driving dark colored Audi sedan at a high rate of speed when he slammed into a tractor-trailer at the intersection of North Railroad Avenue and Gristmill Road in Earl Township around 1:13 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, according to the releases.  Before that happened, at 11:55 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, officers with the New Holland Police Department …

Pedestrian ID'd After Fatal Hit-Run Strike Near Dutch Wonderland: Coroner The pedestrian who was fatally struck by a vehicle outside a hotel near multiple amusement parks has been identified by the Lancaster County Coroner on Friday, Aug. 30.  John Zimmerman, 72, original of Lititz but recently of Lancaster, died at the scene of the strike at 2270 Lincoln Highway East at Fairfield Inn, according to the coroner. The strike happened around 4:10 a.m. and Zimmerman was pronounced dead at 4:54 a.m., as dispatchers said and as noted in the coroner's release.  Zimmerman was already dead when first responders arrived, according to LCWC. Historic One-Room Amish School House Catches Fire: Lancaster Co. Disptach (Developing) A historical one-school house caught fire on Friday night, Aug. 2, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications.  The call to 911 about the fire at the Bunker Hill School/Strasburg Township Municipal Building came into LCWC at 7:35 p.m., dispatchers told Daily Voice.  Emergency crews were called to the blaze at the intersection of Shaub, Deiter, and Bunker Hill roads in Strasburg Township.
