2 Cows Killed, Horse Shot: PA State Police

A disturbing case of animal cruelty is under investigation in Lancaster County after unknown suspects shot multiple livestock, leaving two cows dead, Pennsylvania State Police announced.

Troopers from the Lancaster station said the suspects fired multiple shots into two cows along the 100 block of School House Road in Colerain Township. Both animals were found dead by their owner on the morning of Saturday, March 15.

The same shooters then targeted another cow and a horse along the 500 block of South Vintage Road in Sadsbury Township, police said. The cow was killed, but the horse survived.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Pennsylvania State Police Lancaster Barracks.
