Hit-Run Sends Central PA Man Getting Gas To Hospital: Police A 47-year-old man is in the hospital after a hit-and-run in Lancaster County early Wednesday morning, Oct. 16, police announced. Columbia Borough Police officers were called to a report of a person struck at Columbia Plaza in the 910-970 block of Lancaster Avenue at 12:19 a.m., according to the release and Google Maps Street View. Officers arrived to find the victim, "who was struck by a passing car [had] suffered undetermined minor to moderate injury and was transported to the hospital by ambulance," as written in the release. Man Partially Ejected From Car Killed In Philadelphia: Police A man was killed in a crash through a fence in Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 28, police announced that evening.  The driver of a Ford Explorer lost control and crashed the vehicle through a wooden fence in the 4500 block of Fisher Lane in the 15th District, around 1:11 p.m., the police detailed in the release.  The man driving the Explorer was partially ejected out the driver's side window, PPD explained.
