Late-Night Labor Day Shooting Ruled Homicide, Lehigh Coroner Says (Update)
Authorities have ruled that the 39-year-old man shot dead in Allentown over the Labor Day weekend was a homicide.
Terrence Brunson, of Allentown, Brunson was pronounced dead on Monday, Sept. 2, at about 11:20 p.m., according to the Lehigh County Coroner.
He died of a gunshot wound to the chest, the coroner said on Wednesday, Sept. 4.
He was pronounced dead in the emergency department at St. Luke's Hospital, Sacred Heart Campus.
The shooting occurred on Monday, Sept. 2, at approximately 10:40 p.m. in the 500 Block of W. Liberty St. in Allentown, the coroner said. …
Woman ID'd After Fatal Assault By Married Couple: Dauphin County Coroner
The woman found dead following an assault at a husband and wife's apartment has been identified, by the Dauphin County Coroner on Sunday, Sept. 1.
Allie McFadden, 26, of York County, was killed in Kyle and Chanise Burton's apartment in the 100 block of Pine Street at 11 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29.
The investigation revealed that the Burtons were responsible for her death, according to the police, and as Daily Voice previously reported.
Her autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024.

Three men are in custody following an assault at a resort's restaurant, York County Regional Police announce on Thursday, Aug. 29.
Shawntay Handy, 49, T Kwon Banks, 20, and Tyjyre Stern, 18, were arrested on warrants on Tuesday, Aug. 27, the YCRPD explained.
The warrants were issued following an investigation into an assault involving a knife in the restaurant at Heritage Hills Golf Resort located at 2700 Mount Rose Avenue in York Township at 1:27 a.m. on June 1, 2024, as detailed in the release.

Police ID Armed Carjackers Who Stole Vehicle With Infant In Upper Darby: 'Armed And Dangerous'
Police have identified two suspects at large following an armed carjacking in which a vehicle was taken with an infant inside in Upper Darby Friday afternoon, Aug. 30.
Phillis Fugah, 23, from Upper Darby, and Ian Dean, 21, of Philadelphia, approached a man waiting for his wife on West Chester Pike around 3:10 p.m., UDPD Superintendent Timothy M. Bernhardt said.
"During a struggle, the suspects managed to take the vehicle, unaware that a 2-month-old child was still inside," Bernhardt said.
