Fallen Tree Pulls Powerlines Down Closing Road In Doylestown: Police A roadway is closed to all traffic due to a downed tree involving multiple power lines, Doylestown police said. Pebble Hill Road is blocked to all traffic at its intersection with Turk Road at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, according to the Doylestown Township Police Department. Police suggest drivers find an alternate route. Approximately 108 PECO customers and 218 PPL Customers are without power in Bucks County, no estimates for when the power would come back on were available.

Drivers were asked to "find alternate route," the police said.  The roadway reopened at 5:28 p.m. according to the police.

Crash Shuts Down Lincoln Highway In Chester County: Police Authorities are responding to an accident on Route 30 in West Whiteland on Monday morning, June 17.  Route 30 is shut down east of Springdale Drive and some area residents have lost power, police said around 10 a.m.  The PECO outage map shows more than 100 customers in the area are affected. Crash Shuts Down Route 422 In Exeter Township Exeter police responded to a crash on Route 422 on Wednesday afternoon, June 12.  Authorities said it happened near Daniel Boone Road around 2:30 p.m.  "Motorists should expect the road to be closed for an extended period of time," Exeter police said.  WFMZ reports a Minersville woman died as a result of the crash.
