NWS Confirms Tornado Touched Down In Pennsylvania
The National Weather Service at State College has confirmed a tornado touched in Harrisburg and traveled through the neighboring townships during Tropical Storm Debby on Friday, Aug. 9. The EF1 had estimated peak winds of 105 miles, it was 300 yards at its widest, and was on the ground for about 3 1/2 miles, according to the NWS release. The tornado touched down near the Inclinator Company at 4:33 a.m. and took off again near the Pennsylvania State Police headquarters on Elmerton Avenue around 4:40 a.m., as detailed in the release. The 52-year-old son of a former US Ambassador started a road rage incident that led to his death, the Dauphin County District Attorney Fran Chardo announced on Tuesday, July 16. Paul Kattouf of Susquehanna Township was found shot dead in the 200 block of State Street (between Second and Third streets) around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, according to the releases by Harrisburg police and the Dauphin County Coroner's office. Girl Missing For Days In Central PA, Police Say
The public has been asked to help locate a girl who was last seen near Union Deposit Road and Progress Avenue in the Harrisburg Area, the Susquehanna Township Police announced on Wednesday, June 26. Keilani Terry was last seen leaving the 400 block of Redwood Street in Susquehanna Township on Monday, June 24, according to the police release. She is between 13 and 17 years old, has braids in her hair (as pictured), and is 5'2" tall, police explained. The results of the autopsy for a high school senior, who was shot dead by a 13-year-old boy, were released by the Dauphin County Coroner on Friday, June 7. Tyron Perrin, 18 of Susquehanna Township, died from a gunshot wound to the chest and the manner was homicide, according to the coroner's report. Zahkee Talib-Davis has been charged as an adult with Murder and Carrying a Firearm Without a License following the shooting death of Tyron Perrin, the Susquehanna Township Police announced on June 5.
