Allentown Shooting Sends 'Juvenile' To Hospital, Police Say
A juvenile was shot and injured in Allentown on Thursday afternoon, June 13, city police say. Shots rang out near North Nagle and West Allen streets around 3:30 p.m. Authorities arrived at the scene to find the victim with a single gunshot wound, according to APD. First responders rendered aid at the scene and took the victim to an area hospital, police said. His injuries "do not appear to be life-threatening at this time." The shooting is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call 610-437-7721.

Berks Thieves Used Stolen Truck To Rip ATM From Ground, Troopers Say
State police are investigating a theft from an ATM at a Berks County bank. The three suspects drove a stolen truck to First Citizens Community Bank in Tulpehocken Township around 3 a.m. on May 6, troopers said in a release. They pried open the top panel and bottom door of a drive-up ATM, fastened a tow hook and chain inside the door, then accelerated the truck forward to remove the ATM from its concrete base, police said. Burglar Tried Breaking Into West Chester Home, Authorities Say
A masked man tried entering a West Chester home while residents were inside, borough police said in a release. It happened on the 100 block of South High Street around 10 p.m. on May 6, according to investigators. Police believe the suspect watched the resident enter the home before trying to get in. He fled before officers arrived and was not located when police searched the area. An argument between two groups in Philadelphia last month led to the shooting death of an uninvolved woman, according to city police. Authorities said it happened around 4:45 p.m. on May 11, when three men were walking on the 4700 block of North Broad Street. They came across another group and "appeared to have a verbal dispute" before one man pulled out a handgun and opened fire, police said. Two Coatesville residents have been arrested and charged in the fentanyl overdose death of their 8-year-old son last summer, authorities said Holly Back and Mousa Hawa were each charged with third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter in the July 26, 2023 overdose death of their son, the Chester County District Attorney's Office said on Tuesday, June 4. A 22-year-old man is dead following a single-vehicle crash into a utility, police announced on Tuesday, May 28. Anthony Perez, 22 of Lititz has been identified as the driver of the vehicle that fatally crashed, according to the Lancaster County Coroner's Office.
