Large yellow-and-gray spiders with 4-inch-long legs that can fly through the air are heading to the Northeast and could show up this summer, according to multiple reports. Sightings of the Trichonephila clavata species known as "Joro spiders" have already been reported in 10 Eastern states, CBS News says. Bear Spotted Traveling Through Carlisle: Police
The public is asked not to approach a bear spotted in Carlisle. The bear was seen in the area of Garland Drive and South Hanover Street around 10 a.m. on Sunday, June 2, according to a release by the area police. People were urged to avoid the area and keep pets inside. The police explained the Game Commisssion was notified.
