Trucker MedEvac'd After Slamming Into Littlestown Laundromat (Photos) A trucker was medically evacuated by a helicopter to an area hospital following a serious crash into a Littlestown laundromat early on Thursday morning, Sept. 12, authorities explained.  The driver is thought to possibly have had a medical issue before he lost control of the vehicle, exiting the road, hitting a parked vehicle, causing the tractor-trailer to rollover and slam through the Littlestown Laundry Center, authorities said.  The crash happened in the 500 block of South Queen Street at 5:29 a.m. according to emergency dispatch.  A utility pole broke during the crash, officials said.…

Horse Struck Dead By Van, No Charges Filed: PA State Police A horse was struck dead by a minivan in Salisbury Township on Thursday, Sep. 5, Pennsylvania State Police announced the following day.  The 2011 Dodge Caravan driven by 20-year-old Leon Lapp of Atglen struck a horse standing on Churchtown Road just south of Main Street at 6:01 a.m., PSP Lancaster Trooper Joshua Croyle wrote in the release.   The Caravan was going south on the Road when it hit the horse then continued across the northbound lane of traffic, off the road, into a PP&L utility pole, Trooper Croyle explained.  The horse died from the initial impact of the…

Shippensburg Teen Killed In Motorcycle Crash ID'd: PA State Police A 19-year-old man died at the scene of a motorcycle crash on Sunday, Aug. 11, Pennsylvania State Police Chambersburg announced the following morning.  Delbert Zimmerman, of Shippensburg, was driving a 2013 Kawasaki Ninja on Rice Road when he struck a utility pole at a high rate of speed at 9:08 p.m., PSP Trooper Spenser Myers detailed in the release.
