Homeowner Dies In Devastating Cumberland County House Fire A Cumberland County homeowner was killed in a late-night house fire, officials announced Saturday, Jan. 11. Adnan Bakr Zawawi, the homeowner, was identified as the victim of a fire that broke out on the 1000 block of Country Club Road, the Cumberland County Coroner's Office said. Zawawi was pronounced dead at the scene. His cause of death remains under investigation pending further testing, authorities said. The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal is investigating the fire's cause. No additional details were immediately available.

Of Aging Set Bathtub On Fire While still in the hospital recovering from burns, a 70-year-old woman has been charged with arson and cruelty to animals, the Ephrata Police announced on Friday, Oct. 18.  Leslie G. Fire Prompts Evacuation At Central PA Pizza Hut: Authorities A fire led officials to evacuate a Pizza Hut in Central Pennsylvania on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 3.  The fire broke out at the Pizza Hut located at 320 North Reading Road near the intersection when Dutchland Avenue in Ephrata at 12:05 p.m., according to Lancaster County Wide Communications.
