High Woman Punches Cop In Manheim Township, Police Say
A 37-year-old woman has been charged for allegedly punching a police officer while drunk and high, according to a release by the Manheim Township police on Tuesday, Aug. 6. Kathleen Joanna Russell, was confronted by an officer after "Two 911 calls were placed by residents of a neighborhood, reporting a female sitting in a vehicle that was parked haphazardly, waving her arms around, and yelling," in the 2000 block of Wynfield Drive on July 29, as stated in the release. A 5-month-old infant and seven other Amish people were hospitalized after being rear-ended by an allegedly drunk and high driving, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Monday, July 22. James Leo Walkergoutal, 27 of West Chester, was found "under the influence of alcohol and drugs" when he rear-ended the horse and buggy, Pennsylvania State Police Lancaster Trooper James Grothey wrote in the release.
